Reema came up with this news...wud i acompany her to the sale.....being a volunteer..!!
well o well... comon!!! " sale !....n i am goin to be a volunteer!! wht for ...as a selling girlll??? no way...."
obviously as one cud think.....n me who accuses myself with the .one havin a tint of snobbery !!!ups too litl a thing to go wid.....newys
but then obviously the clouds got cleared.. :P ....
a motive was behind the sale......this sale of clothes and other stuff were for under privileged children ....all the items were collected ,donated by families ...and then were sorted out,,.the children from the municipal schools etc are called , distributed fake currencies... of 1000 rs each...n then told to go around and buy frm those.

this all has been conceptualized by Prakshal.. and givena name " the WAY....world around you " society for children. I loved the concept of sale...this way the children dont feel being given alms...rathr they have a power of choosing...get to lean that when they have lot of things to do ..n go for n get...what wud be their priorities.....and also who are important to them...like there were children who bought things for their family...their ma and pa...and all.... :) ..i loved dat .......
so overall it really is awesome way... :) /
we reached very early ...around 7.30......then a formal intro...then all work came up....we had to set up the stalls...i matched the I
salwars with their
kourtas... searched for matching chunnis... :) .....set them on displays....,,

lo behold...one by one came the lot...and then the actual fun started...i am still thrilled...the overwhelming response of kids...so cute...and since i was handling girls outfits...it was really tuf... to get them perfect match ...to show them all...to get the bargaining done....and then to pamper them... :) ...the way we do whn we are the other side of it....it was gud for me..to understand the way shopkeepers deal and maintain a smile all day !! :) ..... well tuf...
its not so easy ......but then its not impossible...how bringing the smile on faces.....i am not saying these things are going to change the world all of a sudden...but these are the small steps....very small steps taken by a kid..who learn to walk..all realising there lies a new world..an endless world to look ....to explore....n to know...for me...its like this....I never felt so calm and so nice...ever....once when i went to

its how it goes on...a day ..when we feel..there is a whole world out there..we people in CEPT...and then so many years..lately...i have been worried of me..things i dont have...things people around me dont have...or very petty litl issues.....but luk at these ppl..they live...wuid a smile...with wht they have....i dn feel my worth ..unless i cud do smth for them...well jus not becoz i want to "help"...in this world i know.......
"noone can help anyone..."......but i want a chance...to be amongst them..and we all me..you stand together.....n smile.....so dat when i die....i say....my life was worth....... ............i hope so....time is passing on fast...........
